Who here is into Photography?

Hi everyone.  I am trying to lean photography, but with my health issues, it is slow going.  Last year I bought a Canon T5i.  I know it isn't a great camera, but it was the best I could afford.  I have the 2 kit lenses that came with it and I purchased a 50 1.4.  I am struggling to use it.  Some pics come out great, but others are not in focus.  Have to keep practicing.  I have only used my camera a few times so far.  I need to get out there at take more pics.

My question isn't so much with taking pics, but post production.  I read that I should store my photos on a hard drive and us Lightroom.  I purchased both of these items and I am having a difficult time learning to use Lightroom.  I did manage to get my pics onto the external hard drive, but I can't figure out where to put them online.  I am using Pixieset, but not sure if that is the best place to put them.  My camera came with software and somehow my pictures sometimes end up in there as well and I have no idea how they got in there.  I don't want a bunch of pictures stored on my computer as it is a macbook and getting old.   Hence, the external hard drive.

Anyway, here are a few pics I have managed to take so far.  If anyone has any tips on Lightroom or where to put photos online,

Most of us don't have what people would consider the best, but there aren't many bad dslr's these days. Lenses make a huge difference, but even they aren't the biggest factor. The most important component is the photographer... and lots of practice. But practice is the fun part.
Regarding Lightroom. It is a steep learning curve, especially when you're new at the whole thing. Best advice I have, is Google Lightroom (5? Which ever version you have) tutorials. You can find YouTube videos. You can also Google a specific task, like "fix blurry photos in Lightroom (3, 4, 5?)". Some sites have instructions, some have videos. If you go to Adobe's website, you should find some tutorials there.
I have most of my pictures backed up on portable hard drive. I use Flickr for photos I want to share with people, but they offer enough storage now that you could use it as backup. And you can set privacy settings to say who can see your pictures, and whether you allow people to download the full size image. There are other sites out there. I honestly don't know which is best though.
Hope some of this helps.

Such beautiful pics everyone.

I just got a Olympus dslr I am playing with it to learn how to use it. I have only have 35mm and then digital and phone cameras. I am looking forward to seeing more of all these beautiful pictures from all of you. And hopefully learn a bit here and there.

You have to choose to load it big, it gives you three options, small medium and large and defaults to the medium, you have to click on large. However if you click on the pic in the comment it will make it larger for people to see. I did that but do not see any ants.
