Who here is waiting on Eggs???

Everyone gets a few extra man I did not and 2 were cracked and 7 developed so I got 7 in there pipped just waiting!!!

I dunno if I will get any to hatch from these! One is working on it but I dunno

Well, I'm in lockdown now. No action yet but not going to get all freaked out right now. I got my other bator in and set up, just ordered some eggs from Stromberg's, now I wait for it all to go down. I've been in the room peeking on my eggs several times today and checking humidity and water levels so its stable. Turned the heat to 99.5. Staring at the eggs doesn't make them wiggle I found out. Yesterday I candled several and had good air cells dark areas. I think I felt movement but it's hard to say.

Wait you mean to say staring at the eggs does not make them wiggle???? Are you sure? I did so much staring lately... my eyes bugged out haha!!!

But no it doesn’t make them wiggle, LOL although I seem to think it does.... they did wiggle a few times well a lot on first day of lockdown, but I still stare... and stare and stare and talk and talk and talk and sometimes I even whistle and my husband walks by and says “you... have finally cracked!” BUT he does it too!!!!

Ours are out now, we got 5 out of 7 lost a couple their air cells were just too far gone. BUT I am so happy we got these 5 I LOVE them they are pets. California Valley quail. My husband just had to have them, he’s from CA originally but I’ve turned him into a good ol’ southern boy now!

I’m sorry you lost some are you in the south near SC? It has been hot and humid, but it’s been REALLY hot up north... or maybe you are in another country...?

Do you go to a farmers market? I would like to go but not sure where yet. Not really to sell more to look at all the stuff and maybe get some veggies I don’t grow myself...

Hatched. 11 Bob's, 8 turkeys, 21 guineas, 32 chickens and 176 cots over the last 2 nights.

6 trays of quail, turkeys, pheasant, and chicken left. Then I'm done hatching for the season.

What I'm getting for eggs now just giving away. A few went to a couple of people that wanted to hatch a few.

Lost a few of my layer hen chickens and quail assuming to the heat. Been miserable..

All I've hatched are going to a sale tomorrow and brooders should be empty. What left to hatch are next years replacements

Oh, how cute! I am still waiting. No pips, but hatch day isnt till tomorrow or Tuesday. I hear no peeping either. I work tomorrow but took off Tuesday and am off wed and Thursday so I hope for some pip action on those days. Anyway your babies are adorbs, I'm jealous!

Hey, how are you? How many of the eggs hatched? I'm just curious because you said they would hatch on the fifteenth and that was a while ago, so are the chicks healthy? Please let me know I'm soooo curious about it!!
