I'm facebookless not by choice... DH won't allow it...sniff... Oh well I'm still alive and healthy

its amazing how many people ask about it and whem I tell them in not on FB they look at me like I'm crazy!

Me, me, ME!

This is the ONLY site I read or post to. Otherwise, I pick up a phone or drag my ssa out into the world to look people in the eye! Personal opinion is that it is too easy to hide behind a screen. Emotionally it is not good for you! We need to connect to real people. It's healthier. We are kinder, too. With the anonymity that a screen provides, it is too easy to become mean and nasty and judgmental. Too easy to forget that the person on the other side of that screen has feelings too.

I am on FaceBook. My only 'friends' are my three eldest grandchildren and my SIL. My reason for joining is to be able to find out what my grandchildren (14,15, &17) are doing on a regular basis since I don't have long distance telephone capabilities.

I am Facebook free. This thread actually makes me feel like I am not alone!! Even my computer illiterate brother who doesn't know how to text started a Facebook page and gives me #*&@ for not having one. Everyone at work has one and all they do is make fun of each others page when they are not in the room. Too each his own, just not for me.
