I'm in.... I fell off the wagon big time... time to climb back on and gitty-up once again.
 
I'm in ... lost some with WW, but gained over 1/2 back when I stopped going. Tell me when and where, and I'll be there! We will all be good lookin' chicks before summer!

count me in on this.........I am a lifetime member of weight watchers....but started a backslide about 30 pounds ago.....and still careening down hill!

I have LOTS of really good recipes!

Need to lose at least eighty to ninety pounds since the birth of my DD almost five years ago....... UGH! I love to eat!

Now what are processed foods? I need to limit my intake on them!

I love Italian and Mexican and old time roasts and grilled meats. I love frozen veggies (canned ones are too salty and have to limit those).

Hubby got laid off from UPS and we are limited income. Most of the stuff donated at the food pantries we get are pastas, canned veggies and Mac and cheese and hotdogs or canned spagettis and pork n beans. Not the greatest idea to have that kind of diet but hard to supplement when they dont have much fruits and veggies but tons of rice and pastas.
 
I know what you mean Ewe. It's cheaper to stay fat than it is to have healthy meals. My hubby has been unemployed since August 2006. Has only found odd jobs since then. I've been on short term disability since Sept. Thankfully we had our garden this year and were able to can and freeze a bunch of veggies.

Both me and dh Have to lose some. dh was told by doc last year to lose some when he gained 20lbs in three month, he gain another 30 instead

he's 210, i got told to lose some by doc in oct i gain 25 in 8 months i need to loose 35, i'm 140, 5'0.

i don't know how it happened we didn't change the way we ate, we've had the same menu for 10 years! lots of fresh veggies, whole gain cereals for breakfast w/ 2% milk, no candy in this house!!, unsweeten tea,

i blame the food companies what ever they replaced trans fats with is really doing a number on us!

we're eliminating Stress!! even if that means sending some family members into exile we MEAN IT! they were warned!

really we had to do this Dh's weight is starting to really effect him and is taking a toll on his health, if he doesn't i think he's headed for a heart attack in the next two years.
and he's life is more important than those stressfull crappy relationships with those family members!


ets, DH tryed low carb last year per doc, Nothing! he gain 3lbs

Not sure about Akins diet becuase I am on heart meds for HBP and Cholestrol. Other than that, Im fine but way too overweight and sluggish at times. I hope it will help with my scatic nerve pain and fibromylgia and getting some of the weight off will help some to become manageable. Im on disability too.

Frustrating when you get all those things from the food pantries and make do with one package of hot dogs, one package of a slice of ham, and tons of mac and cheese and pastas. UGH! no wonder they give me headaches. No pop or sugar stuff in our house. Water, milk and more water is all we have for to drink.

Meat is very expensive for us but I found a deal of two dollar a piece for Cornish Hens. bought ten of them. YUMMY! Roast them in the oven. Yeah, got potatoes and gravy and two sides of veggies last night. And rolls. BAD!
