I have 5 hens and a rooster... just started getting eggs this week

I have 3 Red Sex Link as below and #5 which should be an americauna {EE?} but doesn't look at the stage of laying. The past few weeks, she goes in the nesting box, pushes the golf balls under her and sits a bit. {I took the golf balls out yesterday.}

I thought that the #1 was the green layer but she should be my Black Sex Link now that I know she is laying brown. I have caught her twice. So Who is laying Green???

Tues - 1 brown
Wed - 1 green 1 brown
Thurs -1 brown
Fri - 2 brown
sat - 1 green 1 brown as of 6pm

And couldn't leave out the rooster...

I would vote # 5. just getting started it looks like. Mine started laying at 4 months old. Your hen has no muffs or beard but still has enough to produce green eggs it seems. Good luck to you.

Number 5 is your green egg layer
That is so awesome. I really wasn't sure. She doesn't seem as mature as the others and is 2-3 weeks younger. all the rest are 22 weeks so are on schedule it seems

Many of my EE gals start laying at 16 weeks. They are very nice birds IMO. She looks to be very ready to lay!
I was just a little confused, looking for wattles, physical characteristics. she does seem to be the best temperament of my girls. So glad she is laying!!

Of, course you all are right!! Definitely confirmed this morning! In the nest box as I type! :celebrate #5 {Mary} is my layer of green

4 out of 5 have laid today already!!!! :love
