At dark last night I had two pip's out of seven egg's. It's after 1:00am now and I just went and took another look. The pip's look exactly the same. This scared me for a minute until I noticed another one piped. one is aracana, one is buff and the other is game. I sure hope the rest hatch because they are buff's. Little yellow fluff ball's. I would of gone and checked on them a couple of hour's ago but I've been nursing a dog bite all night. OOCH!!!!!! I couldn't here any internal peep's because there are 19 baby peeper's awake back there. Last night they were up at 3:00am. My babies are on my schedule. lol Hopefully I can sneak back in there after the chick's go back to sleep and hear a peep.
Here is my one lone Ameraucana. She is a very cute, splash. I just love her!!!! She is so fuzzy and soft! She fell asleep on my chest this morning when I covered her with a blanket.
I still have 5 more eggs in the bator, but I am not holding out much hope for them. I have had major problems with this hatch.
Here are the three Golden Lakenvelder that hatched. Man are they ornery! And does anyone know if it is normal for the one to have all dark coloring? I wonder if he is a cross...
Here is the only Cuckoo Marans to hatch
They have been almost as bad as the silkies! It had better be a pullet...
Now I just have some Mille Fleur Leghorn and some Crele Polish eggs that are due Monday - then I'm done
OMG I just had a buff hatch out and we are getting strong wind's from the hurricane. The power has been blinking. What should I do if the power goes off??? I can't think of anything to do if it does. Any suggestion's????
