Who is pipping and waiting right now??

I stop turning my EE eggs from ParkerVA tomorrow...

I have 12 left in the incubator, and one under my broody along with the silkie and MaransXEE egg.

Still seeing wigglers, so

e Babies babies everywhere but 11 babies are from a hen that had her nest right outside my kitchen window. One of those babies wasn't keeping up with the mama so I interveined and brought it inside to a brooder where it is screaming for it's mama. I showed the biddie the food and water so now it will call out for it's mama than take a bite, call out again for mama than take a bite. I don't think it will be long and it want be calling for it's mom. Now in may bator I have two silkie/sultan mixes already out and almost dry and three more pipped. YEAH!!! Out of the three that are pipping two are silkie/sultan and one is pure silkie. That one was going to be a surprise because at the time I set the egg's I didn't know who was the other egg layer. I now know which hen it had come from. Then there are a couple of egg's that are not doing anything. I will see what I can do as far as pic's as soon as these babies dry. It is a happy day in my house. Goodnight Johnboy! lol PEACE
P.S. Also it's a sad day too because this is my last hatch of the year. No really it is, don't you believe me. I will have the old man hide my bator's, that should work.!!!!

O. K. there's one more out and I'm waiting on the last two that have pipped. Still nothing with the last two egg's with no pip's but I still have hope. All season my egg's have been coming on day 20 except the silkie/sultan's. They have taken there own sweet time about entering this world so maybe these last two are say what we call late bloomer's.
To: Tiny tiny farm & Henney Penny I Just want to warn you that after your first hatch you will be hooked for life. There's nothing you can do about it now but go with it and enjoy every minute of it. I totally admit I'm addicted and I don't care who know's about it. There I said it.

My little broody didn't pop off the nest this morning when I went out for the morning rounds, so I gently picked her up to put her by the food... that's when I noticed two pips!!! I quickly put her back on the nest...

The ones in the incubator haven't done anything yet. Broodies are the best!!!

These are ParkerVA's eggs... EE, and MaransxEE, and a silkie egg are under Elvis, 12 more EEs in the incubator...

I have one chick that just hatched this morning, and one more that is pipped. One more egg to go, and we'll be all done! The other egg is tapping...my dumb dad decided to 'help' the chick that was pipped, and tore the shell all to heck...so I HAD to open the hatcher to wrap the shell in a wet cloth...might as well check the other while I'm in there!!

These are eggs that my hen was setting on. She had 8 total. She has 3 with her, that hatched on Sat. And Sun., and 3 more hatched in the hatcher, waiting to go to mama! Looks like she should have all 8 back by tomorrow!!

The maransX just hatched!!! I can't see it yet as she had pushed herself all the way back behind momma, but I removed the shell. Nice clean hatch! Can't wait to see her!!!!!!

OK... I take that back... in the last ten minutes, one of the EEs in the hatcher pipped, and there's peeping coming from the hatcher!!
