Who is pipping and waiting right now??

the hen was a red game,, and dad is a black grey game,, he's kinda rare ,, not many like him with his color,, so im hoping the black ones come out looking like him,, them chipmunk looking chicks are the same, so im hoping they'll be sex linked, blacks be roo's and chipys be the hens.

I had to fire my bator back up. I really didn't know what else to do.

My silkie hen Lil Miss Lou Lou laid her first two eggs last month and then decides to go broody.

Well while she was sitting my sultan hen Sophia kept going in the nest and laying her eggs.

Now two babies have been hatched for three days now and Lil Miss Lou Lou is still sitting on those eggs. Yesterday she had kicked two eggs out and they were cold so I warmed them slowly while waiting for the bator to warm up and I see movement in one of those eggs today. She didn't come off the nest today so I took her remaining eggs and put them in the bator tonight.

This is Lou Lou and her babies.

I have one pip and one rocking and heard some cheeping out of eight eggs in the bator.

What should I do if Lou Lou doesn't come off the nest tomorrow? Take the babies? I have left them food and water by the nest.
Hope this fits in this section!

Got 5 hatched and more pipped. All are BR's.
Still waiting on my bantam EE's to start pipping. Got Frizzles in the other hatcher. 1 hatched and 2 more pips...YIPEEEEEEEE!! Dipsy's a grandma AGAIN.

shooting for 100% hatch this time, figured I would set my goals high.. I will keep you posted.

I had one of Lil Miss Lou Lou's hatch last night about 2:00am. I figure the 7 eggs left were laid a day apart so what should I do with my humitity guys? The baby that hatched last night was pretty dry but all went good. I have no way of knowing which egg should hatch next.

Please let another one hatch. This baby from last night is a screamer and needs a friend.

Did you try to put the baby with Miss Lulu? I would try to sneak it in under her when it drys off.
I am not sure what to do about the humidity, I think i would keep it around 50 - 55.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just went out and made Miss Lou Lou's babies scream and she came off that nest. About time!!! Tonight I will try and sneak the babie under her and hope for the best. Still confused about humitity. I will up it a little.
