Who is pipping and waiting right now??

Ok.. Day 23 , yes, 23 and I Have 1 hatched , 1 pipping , and 1 chirping in the shell... and we were going to give up on the little things had nothing happened by the evening.. Guess it is always better to wait.. Anyone else having late hatches???

Just started day 21 about an hour ago and I have 4 pipping and 3 rocking. One has not moved and I fear it is lost, but who knows? The other two rocked yesterday but have been quiet today.

I had one hatch out early this morning (day 21 ) but nothing else has happened until this evening when I see another egg has pipped.

Had a pip this morning. Baby is cheeping but not ready to zip and join his siblings. Tomorrow is day 21.

Well I just checked and I have two hatched out and 4 or 5 pipped. If everything goes like the last one In about one hour I should have about 5 additional chicks.

Awww... hang in there. My last chick has issues, too... half the size of others, yolk sac hadn't been absorbed, curled toes... but she's hanging in there. I had a bootie on her all day yesterday, and today I finally had to give her a "bath" to un-slick her feathers. She tried to drown herself a couple of days ago, then rolled in the kibble on the floor... breaded herself.

So she had little patches of fuzz in the slicked back areas. It looked really funny. She's just really scrawny and gangly, but I think she's going to make it.

Yeah, it is still hanging in there. There is some blood on the paper towel that it was sitting on. It doesn't seem to be breathing as hard, but it still doesn't peep much. When it does, it is very quiet. But it is at least 2 days late. Idk what the problem was. I used the same thermometer in there that I used in the buttons (off and on), and the buttons hatched out pretty good. Maybe it's my fan that's in the bator?

I just had 4 hatch today, and still have six eggs in the bator. Should I remove the chicks, or is that bad on the humidity for the other pipping eggs?

But, on a lighter note, I checked my broody today. Her eggs weren't due to hatch till tomorrow, but she had a pip yesterday when she went on her morning run. This morning she had at least 5 of 8 hatched, and tonight she has 8 of 8!! 3 millies for sure, 4 BR or BR mixes, and one mystery chick. It could be another millie, but it was a lot darker than the other 3. I will have to get a better look at them when mama brings them off the nest.
