Today is day 19 for Light Sussex eggs!

Today is day 18 for me and they are out of the turner and humidity is up. Now I just have to be patient.

11 chicks 2 pips. Looks like 1 is coming out soon! Go look at all the pics. More to come when they dry. Why do they make it so hard to take good pics thru incubator windows?

I have a goose egg on day 28 and it is halfway around the shell. I also have chicks on day 22, and 7 chicks that hatched already.

My gosling is all the way around the shell, I think with 30min "She" will be out.

Well,

My last little sebbie hatched on Saturday evening. I think it is another girl. We have named her "Footie" as she has some difficulty with her feet. She is quite a little lover too!

We had to tape her feet and toes with duct tape as they were folded up. After two days, she is doing quite well. Her gate is a little funny, but she is up and getting around with the other two.

I imagine we will keep the tape on as long as it will stick. Only time will tell if she continues to improve. I may have to find her a special needs home if her legs aren't strong enought to support her weight. But she seems to be a fighter already.

Anyway three more eggs should be hatching in three more days.....
