Day 22 for my blue orps from jimmy47. At 7am nothing at 8:15am 1 nice big pip. Now if my parakeets (don't ask how I got them LOL) would just start to sing that little one would zip like crazy. I learned that one on my 1st hatch LOL.

this piping .. is it a noise ? i heard cheeping from one egg that has now hatched but the end of the egg went a little see through and a darker colour than the rest of it. The other eggs have now changed to the same colour at the end but i cant hear anythuing from inside ... but both my broody hens are still sitting on them. its now day 22 .. do you think the other two will hatch ... getting a bit worried now

I have 5 hatched right now, day 22 at 8pm this eve. Don't expect the other three to hatch...no movement

congratulations! They are sweet! Did the hen hatch them? If so, thats probably why you got the perfect hatch.

Mother Nature....you just can't beat it.
