Chickenaddict. I am happy you enjoyed looking at my bird. I have to admit he is a beautiful bird and I have been working on the right combination to breed him with. I've been offered alot of money for him but this kills me some people just do not understand "money doesn't have anything to do with it."

No more peeps or pips in the bator. Not worried because the way the hatch is going down theres no way to know the due date. I did candle last night and there is one more for sure.

YIPPIE. The screamer is all quiet these days so all she needed was a friend. lol

Everybody needs a friend even a screamer. lol

He is a beautiful roo. Is that really Blue feathers or just shiny black ones? I am so envious. Great job Chilling!

Good job all on your newest hatches!!!

I am sitting on my hands right now on day 22! I have some of B/B/S orps in there and I have no clue why we are at day 22 without a chick. 3 pipped....so I am hopeful but....one is bleeding and I didn't mess with it. Like I said....sitting on hands...lol

Last hatches (last week) I got 10 chicks out of 13 eggs, 12 chicks out of 15 eggs....now these guys want to be stubborn. Same temps and everything of my last hatches. I just hope by the time I come home from work I have some chicks! These were extra special to me....so of course something goes wrong. I need some fingers crossed for me please!

I'm on day 27 and my ducks are due tomorrow.

I promise you I will be out checking the chickens in the nesting box tonight before bed with a flashlight.

(My husband was out checking on them at 8 and 10am this morning before I even made it out there... and he's the one who's NOT a fan of my birds.)

On day 19 we had 2 beautiful SLW's out of a total of 4 fully developed eggs. These little things started peping on day 18.. they were as bad as me wanting them to hurry up and get here.. These are our first baby SLW and I just love them.. We have more due to hatch on the 1st and setting more tomorrow .. I AM AN ADDICT !!!!!!!! LOL

This is my 1st clutch to incubate.
I thought that to try my hand I would get some "mutts" from a freind down the road.
I have 11 mutt banties and 1 Speckled Hamburg on day 20 and when i checked tonight one of the banties is pipping. I can hear it peeping!

Once again, I went ot move my eggs to the hatcher at the end of day 18, and I have one that has pipped the shell already, and 2 more that have pipped the air sac!!!

It doesn't matter what I do with these eggs, they just hatch early period!!
