A hatcher with no window, now that is butt backwards. lol

Did you catch the pic of the silkie/game mix chick that Miss Lulu is raising. It's on post # 2356. Strange little chick, looks game, has yellow legs with 5 toes and feathers on its feet. I'm afraid if I let this chick live with my game birds they will laugh at it toes and feet. lol

hahaha,, ya i saw the chickie,,, lol,, with the looks of that 1,,, you might have to make it, its own pen

That is just to sad, Maybe I will have to let Miss Lulu back out so she can make my game roos day that has his eye on her so this mixed up bird will have a friend. Snakeman has taken a liking to the silkie/game. Out of my 200+ birds this is the forth one he has claimd as his. Go figure

you should see my leghorn/ feathered footed BO mix,, he's white, splashed with orange, has 1 black feather on each wing, and has feathered feet

I just had to pull this old thread back up to the front...It's tradition!

I have 11 eggs left from the 20 sent to me from Punkinpup and one of them is pipped! A couple were hard to see the development, so I put them in the hatcher...just in case

I also have 4 EE's in there

Good luck! I had 5 in the hatcher yesterday, 6 EE's. Only 1 hatched, poor lonely chick. But have 12 silkie eggs to hatch around the 7th so won't be lonely long.

I have 5 dozen being sent out this next week from jab91864. This will be a designer hatch (mixed feather footed large fowl). I got my first eggs that were my first chickens from Julie and they were beautiful, at 11 weeks I lost them to the neighbors dog going thru my electric fence. So I beefed up the electric on the fence and am trying them again. Can't wait. If anyone is looking for a nice mix of mixed chicks Julie does a great job.
