I have 2 of nine 1 was a dud so I am now waiting on 6.
I check every few hours.lol I am desperate for them to finish hatching. I dated some 12/23 and 2 a few days before with and X
How long should I wait???? I am a newbie and my chickens pulled a fast one and got a clutch to sit on. They had to pull the mean momma hen card and so everytime I went to get eggs she'd bite me hahaha. I had 22 in the nesting box but took out all but 9.
So just curious when should I be concerned with them not hatching?? Not sure please help me I am dumb.hahaha

Nevermind I couldn't help it and I cracked one open and it was a dud and then I did the rest and they were all duds.
I am sad but That's how it goes.

You guys are making me even more anxious then I already was- I have 15 due to hatch tomorrow and I CAN"T STAND THE WAIT

Once the chick breaks through the shell how long does it take them to hatch?

I have 2 Cayuga ducklings and 2 RIR/EEs out! I also have a bunch of pipped Cayugas, RIR/EEs, Frizzles, and Silkies. They're all a day early and my quail that were due today haven't pipped yet...silly birds!
