I have 48 conturnix quail in the bator now, 8 so far they are so cute.

I have 12 Speckled Sussex from sandspoultry and 10 Polish and Sultans from chickenzoo, set for hatching and due on the 23rd. I just observed a WCR Polish egg rocking in the 'bator.

Last time I hatched, the amount of time between rocking, peeping and pipping for the first few chicks was surprisingly short, but I've had a couple of humidity and temperature issues this time around so we'll see.

My wife had to take over since I had to go back to work when I left we had 30 hatched and more chicks piping and zipping. I very happy that we got this many chicks from shipped eggs off ebay and our homemade chick- o-bator
