Who is pipping and waiting right now??

Well I don't quite have a bator yet but a friend of mine is hatching out some d'uccle and silkie eggs that I got from Chellester and I am so excited that I can't hardly stand it! I have 8 days left. They were candled on day 8 and they were all good except for 2 d'uccle eggs. One was clear and one had a blood ring. So I am waiting on 10 d'uccle and 6 silkie eggs- due to hatch next Sunday!

I thought I was going out on a limb just getting the d'uccles, now I am getting silkies, I am in trouble and I know no one here will help! I have an incubator coming soon and I think I am about to be overrun with chickens. The trouble is that I just have too many breeds I like!

well, my 2 blue /splash silkies from melanie are in there now, one is piped and zipping the other is cheeping like mad

. One of my eggs hatched...

.....i think someone slipped a odd egg in there, could have sworn they were all from my buff silkie pen.....this one is a cochin. Of my other "silkie" eggs 3 are piped and 2 still waiting on.

FINALLY.....I got six out of twelve silkies that are fine and drying, one silkie didn't make it, and there are three eggs still in the incubator. I candled them and it seems like they are in there and moving around. But there are no pips. Back in the bator they go for at least another two days I guess. Pics are coming
