Who is pipping and waiting right now??

day 16 on some butto quail. three pips out of 50!!!! early but thats okay.

chickolator - congratulations on your hatch. I have 10 chicks in a brooder, and I can barely keep up with them. How do you take care of and account for the location of 50??

I have barnevelder, blue orps, and my F1 project eggs hatching today. If all hatch will have 30 or so more chicks. I hear them peeping and see cracks in shells but so far none have made a full appearance.

I personally have not seen that they are harder to hatch than any other breed. I have had my best hatches from the blue orps, however they are from my own eggs so no shipping.

It hatched!!!!

I have a baby Klucker! I don't know what it is yet... I'll post a pic when it's dry. I'm so happy! Now Sapphire has a buddy!

Janet, that's great! The ones I have from you that are a week old are getting lots of black in their wings, one especially. That one also has a black stripe down the back of its head. They are just too cute!
