Day 17 for 2 Silkie eggs. I had to add water to the bator tonight, so I candled quickly, and they both look great. It looks like the splash egg is trying to poke through the air sac. Or maybe Im just excited lol.

Thanks Dawn! I think I've incubated just about 200 eggs this summer, and hatched 7 chicks. Two of them died, though, due to unfixable circumstances. This hatch is the best by far - 2 out, 5 more pipping (and screaming at me the whole time!) and 6 more to go.

It's about time!!!

, and #8 & 9 are chipping their way out... you can knock me over with a feather...
