That bird is barred so one of his parents also had to be barred. (Or possibly white hiding barring)
You are missing one of the parents.
The colorful feathers are just some color leakage coming through.
You big guy looks kinda like an andalusion.

I broody hen will hatch out anybody's eggs, so technically she would be his adoptive mom, not biological.

Dad #1: you said Americana/Ayam mix. You are aware that Americanas are Easter Eggers. Easter Eggers are mixed breeds, so I would say that the EE parent of your roo was probably barred, or had the barring Gene. Thus, the barring showing up on the chick.

Your other roo is probably a mix, unless you got him from a feed store or hatchery.

Barring don't hide except on something like white.
If either of those roosters carried the barred gene it would be showing.
