The story continues... the gal was arrested for theft of the dog.

I can't believe the comments on that site defending her actions. One user said he wasn't fit because he looked thug. Wow the ignorance on that website is unbearable.

I actually picked that site because it came up first on my search... it is a UK site. I will try to find a local one.

Again, what is the reason not to put a chip in a dog or yourself? I am very interested to know.

Did you also baptise you puppy like yourself? Surely your religion would prefer you to take good care and be a responsible owner or you loved pet?

If its not natural for a dog to have a chip, its also not natural for them to wear a collar and lead, or to have injections against diseases or be neutered to prevent unwanted puppies. How far do you go along this line.....its not natural for you to wear glasses either.

I've honestly never heard that before either. Actually, some of the biggest contributors to our local Humane Society's chip program are the local churches. They consider it to be part of being a good steward for our animals - insuring that if they get lost they can find their way home.

I am a christian and I MICROCHIPPED ALL MY DOGS!!!!!!!!! There is NOTHING in scripture that says DO NOT MICROCHIP YOUR DOG!!!!!!!! Please don;t insult Christianity by using it to justify your ignorance over the good a microchip can do for your dog. This is not about what is good for you - it is about what is best FOR YOUR DOG!!!!!

I think we have one or two people here who make it up as they go along. If all else fails, call in the deities to support a weak argument!

As I suggested, if you won't do anything to an animal that you won't do to yourself, don't eat animals. Also, don't put them in coops or kennels, castrate them, tether them or give them stupid names.
