Who is who and what...

I found the picture of Marian that I took when I bought her. Not sure if it helps with determining what she could be

Leakage is pretty much red plumage in the wing bars, and possibly hackles (I think?). Although I'm not sure if that occurs in pullets.

Black Sex Link, maybe? As far as I know, Marans only have pink or white foot bottoms. A little confused at this point, and would love for some of the experts to give their opinions. :) @JedJackson @Crazy for Chickens! @Brahma Chicken5000 @sourland @drumstick diva @Gray Farms , or whoever else might be able to give us a definitive answer. :D

That does make me sad but I've suspected it for awhile. Here are some pictures that I got of Coco. Will have the rest this afternoon when I have a second set of hands.

Here are the pictures as promised... Part 1.

Scrappy (same parents as Chickpea) 11-12 weeks old, Note: Scrappy has been picked on since hatch. Most of the feathers on the crown have been picked off and there are lots of bloodied pin feathers, so the crazy hair isn't necessarily looking its best:

Maid Marian bought at Tractor Supply as a Pullet - Cuckoo Maran 11-12 weeks old:

Una cannot be an Ameraucana x Marans as the pea comb is dominant and she would have a pea comb. She most likely is an Easter Egger x Marans.
Chickpea, Scrappy, Omelet, Pepper, and Sunny are pullets.
Pictures Part Two:

Lavender (Unknown mother though we know she is a product of a previous cross with a Lav. Ameraucana and a Lav Ameraucana dad) 11-12 weeks:

Benedict (same parents as Una from the first picture post) 11-12 weeks old:

As far as Una goes - she came out of a dark brown egg of a Cuckoo Marans and the only rooster my friend has is a Lavender Ameraucana. So would that mean that the Roo isn't a straight Lav. Ameraucana but a Lavender EE instead?

also I just want to be really really sure there is zero chance that Coco is a pullet right? I've found a good home for him (way easier than I thought) but today while I was out in the coop and spending a little extra loving with him (he likes to sit on my lap), I decided to "tickle" under his wings like I often do my big girls. This usually makes the hens go into their submissive squat. He did the same thing. Of course when I put him on the ground and went to do the same thing he squirmed away, but it left me wondering if there was a chance he was a she. (i'm probably just having massive wishful thinking). I've had a few people tell me to wait for him to crow, so now i'm wondering if I should wait a few more weeks before rehoming.

I've sent a request for a picture to my friend. I've never met the bird, but I do know he's a well aged guy. I knew the pea comb was dominate but I was reading that it was not completely dominate.
If the bird carries two copies of the pea comb (P, P) then when bred to a single combed bird the pea comb the offspring will have the pea comb but they will be heterozygous for the pea and single comb (P, p) if you breed the offspring to a single comb bird then the resulting children will be 50/50 for single and pea comb.
