These are only a few months old.

Well, forget the crutch and ride the little buggies so you can run into people.

As for taking the dog, teach him/her to bump into the stupid people before the bump into the dog.

Chickie mama, I love the kids going through the store with the rollerskate shoes, or yapping on the phone, both not even watching what they are doing or where they are going. Then they run into you and yes, it is your fault. How about the kids that talk on the cell phone the entire time they are in the store?

I have to DITTO you on the butt wiping. If I would have done more than 1/2 these kids do now a days, I would have got it right where we were standing.

And people wonder what has happened to the children? No they are not spoiled. Some of the kids I know would have no clue what to do if sent outside to play. We are going to have generation after generation of children with no imagination. Sad but true.

Well to fill everyone in:

My splash JG is over the chirping thing. I fed it egg yoke first and then added a little water. I did the same thing today also. She seems to be doing so much better.

I checked my first Peafowl egg, due on the 14th and I think I see fertility. I will know for sure in a couple more days. If so, I have to get these gals laying more eggs. I think it has ceased due to the nights being chilly.

Last, my 2 JG's are on the countdown days, 3, so as of tomorrow I start the waiting game. I checked them once more this evening and I see movement in only 1 egg.

But hopes are still high for both of them.

I think I am in trouble......I hear my wife sharpening knifes in the kitchen! LOL! I got a little out of hand while ordering more eggs for the bator.
I am going to have to buy a new bator just to house them all.
80+ quail eggs to be shipped this week from three different locations.
6 or 8 different kinds. I lost track.
2 orders for golden cuckoo marans for a total of 30+ eggs.
Plus a bid on ebay for 12+ blue andalusian eggs that I am sure
I will win.

I sure need to go back to school for math.
Either that or I can claim temporary insanity!

Dang chicken obsession has me in the dog house.

Don't worry, I will join you in that dog house. I have been in it since before Spring, started the 2nd week of January when I put the first batch in the incubator. Now I just have to wait until July to get out of it.

My main problem right now is, I am praying that my eggs hatch in time to put the other 30 in the incubator when they arrive.

I also see you ordered Blur Andalusian. I have a dozen on the way. Hope more than one hatches this round.

I am now on day 20 of the variety that is in the hatcher now. No pips..... No nothing. There was definitely movement when I candled Sunday before putting in hatcher.

Maybe these will just be late bloomers.

My temp was down to 99.9 when I got home yesterday..... I will give them extra days just to be certain.
