Their not hatched yet, but I have a splash and a blue Jersey Giant and a little black bantie on the way - pippen and zippen, just hopefully they make it out.
Come on little babies.
Also, I just realized that tomorrow is Wednesday, meaning, my baby geese should be here any day.
okay, I think I am wrong. They both look like blues and both seem well so far (hopefully 1 male and 1 female).
Not sure about the bantie, it seems to be having trouble and is very quiet. If she is not out by morning, I will intervene and help her out as much as I can, she seems very tiny, or maybe it is I am use to the full size chickens. But she was the mystery egg, got it from the same person I got the Guinea eggs from and she did not have any bantie chickens. So I am assuming it is a first egg by one of her hens.
Total thread jack for a moment. Tell me you did not manage to place that spare pitbull of yours.... Mine is still here driving me nuts. Anyone in TN want a spare abandoned pitbull???
And hatching vibes your way, accompanied by a crippled hatching chair dance
Oh and one more thing.... Little Google is much more attractive this morning. *whew*
I have another pip too.... this one is marked "frilly". Not real sure what that means. It too was an extra surprise egg. Don't ya just love surprises?!?
Hijack all you want, it takes up the time of waiting.
