Who is with me?

Well, these will be a few days after, but I am putting 16 mixed eggs in the incubator later tonight or in the morning, should be due around the 21st or so. They are brown, white and green from French Hen.
I am holding off candling the Light Brahma and Faverolle eggs for a few days yet. Its not easy!! Like I said, I want to pretty much know what I am looking at!

Well, I was going to candle mine tonight, but I am now putting it off for a couple more days.

Why? I have 5 ducks pipping and my Canadian goose is pipping, plus I have 4 that are doing nothing yet, but I am sure they are not far behind.

So I will be candling as soon as these little ones are hatched. I think I have some chicks due on the 13th and then my others on the 15th.

A word of advice:

Never put a cotton towel under your incubator. I have asked a few times, with no response, about why the water was draining from my incubator: well the cotton towel was working as a wick and pulling it through. Since removing my towel, it has not happened. I just hope it was not removed to late for my babies.

I put 6 buff silkie eggs from Sassy Silkies (JenLynn4) in on the 24th. Candled them today and out of 6, 5 are developing nicely.

The last egg looks to have a blood ring, but I will wait and candle a couple days later to be sure.

Well I feel left out, but that is okay, I have babies being born.

D-I won't open the incubator, I won't open the incubator. I will have patience, I will have patience. I will just stay on the computer until bed time.

Just finished a hatch on Tuesday morning and IF I can get everything properly cleaned and ready, I will be setting 30 Buff Orp eggs tomorrow. My first batch is SOOOO CUTE....

AAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW how cute. I just love the little babies.

I cannot wait to post pictures of my goose and ducks hatching now. I have only been waiting 28 days.

i really havent paid much attention to my eggs this time! lol I know I should, but I just havent! I might go candle one right now..

well, I just checked three of mine! 2 deffa had veining, and 1 didnt.. however one of the ones who had viening may have had a blood ring also.. im not sure, ill wait and see what happens! I dont know much about candling

I have been busy with the other incubator and chickies hatching. I wound up with 4 little chipmunk looking babies and 2 blondes. These are just mutt chickies but they sure are cuties.

I will candle my eggs tonight. I will be setting some guinea and turkey eggs tonight so as long as I have the 'bator open might as well take advantage!

I'll let you guys know the results of my candling.

Day 6 for eggs put in around the beginning of this post.

But since I already had some others in the incubator, I will fill you in:

I have a baby goose.

Do the happy dance.

Little duckings are still working at hatching.

Hope to candle tonight or tomorrow and find out what I have.
