I have 2 pipped eggs (small bantie eggs) and it is only day 19, so I think that is right for them. My small eggs always seem to pip around the 19th day. They sound very healthy so
that nothing goes wrong.
riqui, there is no such thing as incubating without drama. The drama is all part of it when a human decides to do the birds job. You will see what I mean eventually.
The rest of the eggs are due in 2 days, 4 days and 5 days.
I have 4 and 5 up front so I only have to slightly open and turn them quickly.
By the way Chickie_mama, when is your peafowl eggs due?
Riqui, you may see movement, but sometimes you just have to watch closely. Go ahead and check the egg and if you are not sure of what you are seeing put it back in. If you have a clear egg, or one that looks rotten smell it and if it does not stink put it back in. I learned so you will too.
By the way, what are you using to check them?
