Who lays purple eggs

It’s definitely bloom that makes them purple. This is a FBC Marans egg. Her spray booth had a malfunction.

Well I have to disagree after researching it on the Internet. Everyone knows the Internet is always right! 🤣
Apparently they fart glitter and poop rainbows. I’m not sure about the egg thing though, can’t find any evidence…🤷‍♀️
Their poop is the consistency and has the taste of icecream sorbet. It is considered a delectable among some small humans.

The bloom is a cover of protein over the egg. It protects the egg. It helps prevent bacteria from entering the pores (this is very important when hatching eggs that you don't remove to move of the bloom). Sometimes there is only a light coating and sometimes it is very heavy.
I wash my eggs and it still looks purple. But I can see some brown. Is there particular breeds that do this?

Well technically it can be any brown egg layer. Normally the dark brown egg layers you will see this in such as Welsummer and Marans. It is very individual from bird to bird. In some Orpingtons and Wyandottes, this bloom will cause the eggs to look pink.😊
