Who Loves Barred Plymouth Rocks?

We had a flock of 33 and they were on a par if not just a bit better than our RIRs. Curious, no just plain nosy, calm friendly and solid layers, even in the winter. Three Roosters were stately regal boys who got along, a few sparring matches but nothing serious. Now being in the latter part of life I wanted to give a shot to some Lorps that so far are turning out to be a good choice If I was younger I would have another flock Bar Rks and RIRs. At my age the segregation of different flocks is too much of a chore. Now I just want to sit back and enjoy them.

Gosh, I've got my fingers crossed for an accidental rooster!!! I have a few that seem right for coloring but not showing any red in the comb. (Almost 4 wks and almost 2.5 wks)
It would be helpful since this is the flock i plan to replenish itself lol

i suppose we shall see...if not imma have to ( hopefully ) hop on someone else's order.
