Those pics were when he was just about a year old. He's an old man now, and quite brassy in the hackles, my Suedenator. He's still a sweetheart, though. Never saw a calmer rooster, except Hawkeye.
Here's my Brewenna. Probably by no means the largest bird here, but she's my BIG girl of the flock. I had thought that she is a Golden Brahma, but have been informed by other members over in the breeds forum that she is not. Still looking for an answer on that question, so any input is of course appreciated. Oh yeah, she weighs in at eggzactly 8 pounds!

Ever since I backed The Chef off with a flashlight shined in his face, he won't come near me. But he does holler THANK YOU every time I bring treats.
Here's my big guy, affectionately referred to as "Big Boy". Named by the kids, lol. He is a gentle giant, and the reason for my current decision to raise Light Brahmas. Gotta get more of these guys!
Until I had this boy and his 4 ladies given to me by a relative because of a hectic move I had no interest in Brahmas, now I daydream about hatching some of his, and adding some nice lines to these guys to improve things. They look rough because they have been molting, but I still think he is a handsome guy. I just wanna grab those wattles and tug on them, lol!
