If you go on the forums, and ask in the trading section, there are often people who can spare a few seeds of whatever you were unable to get. The trading on http://idigmygarden.com/forums/ is pretty active. Just be aware that there are some pretty active political discussions, too. They can be avoided, though.

Oh, come on now, the political discussions are just as good as getting the seeds!
All joking aside...
That is a great trading forum! You can also get tons of info on there!
I have ordered with great success from a little company called Pinetree Seeds. Cheap and very nicely packaged, and they sell NEAT back to the earth books! Parks are a wonderful seed company, as is Jung's . . .Good Luck. I am sure that Pinetree has a website.
I've had outstanding luck with Tomato Grower's Supply, www.tomatogrowers.com nice selection, high germination rate, good service.
Also order from Park's & Gurney's & The Cook's Garden occasionally. All have been good.
I'm switching over to all Heirloom/no GMO/ etc, etc.. and I have to second (or 6th or 7th) Baker Creek also. And their catalog is to die for. I read it while I eat breakfast
Also, heirloomseeds.com- reasonable prices and a good variety, especially of tomatoes. You cannot see pictures though, so do your research first!
I ordered from Baker for the first time a few weeks ago. Great service and a fantastic assortment of rare, heirloom plants. I am trying all kinds of new stuff this year!
I've ordered seeds from catalogs. I ordered from one company that I am real unhappy with. The company name is Burgess. I still have not recieved my blue potatos. They were not honest about when they were going to ship them. I did however get the other seeds eventually after I gave up and went to the plant nursery and bought starter plants.
I get catalogs from Territorial, Gueney's, Abundant life seeds, Henry Field's, and Pinetree Garden Seeds. I love getting them, after I get a catalog it is promply marked on so I know what I want. My favorite catalog is Territorial seed I orderd from them last year and I had great germination. ( I don't know if this is normal or not but Territorial sent me 3 catalogs this year every couple of months I don't mind getting them I just haven't ever seen this!)
