I found it:

I planted four packets of morning glories all along my farm fencing last summer. One plant grew. One. That's it. Their lack of enthusiasm was more than made up for by the infernal wild morning glories that took over my flower and veggie gardens. Invasive nightmare plants. I swear they grew a foot a day! New sprouts came up daily. They became a breeding ground for ticks and chiggars. I finally gave up in September and ripped ALL of my plants out of the front beds and spread newspaper and mulch. I'm hoping that will keep the pesky plants at a minimum this year.
The wild ones are pretty, but a huge nightmare.

Bliss chick. YOur morning glorys are beautiful. I didn't know Moonflowers were a type of morning glory. I planted some this past year to shade my chicken pen on one side and they were huge flowers and smelled heavenly. Made a great shade. I have picked seeds and saved them for this year.

Some different colors for you glory lovers. I love the orange colored ones- thanks for sharing that, I had never seen that one before.

I just place a metal pipe on the ground with cotton twine tied to it. Then pull the twine up the side of outbuildings and attach for the veins to grow on.

I can't think of a delicate way to say this..but Morning Glories seeds are called the poor man's LSD so animals or humans being able to get to the seeds is something to be considered when picking a location.

I had no idea of this connection with them, as I have them growing everywhere. Someone jokingly told me last year, then I started looking into it more...eeegads.

I grew a variety of moonflower the year before last that has black seeds instead of white. They look a little different, too. The vines don't get as reddish and they make seeds better.

Those things canno tbe contained here.

The summer/fall that I was pg I could not get out and do as much yard work as I had before. We had lots of rain and it just wasn't possible to keep everything pulled out and cut back.

My mother came the week of thansgiving and could not believe it. i wish I had taken photos.

In 2 weeks time my entire back deck had grown over with wild morning glories. You could not even see the wood any more.

When I lived in Ga I loved them. Up here they make me insane. They grow everywhere like wild fire.

How do you keep them contained?

I had a problem when I first moved to my place. Especially in one particular bed by the pool. I have tryed to stay ahead of them by pulling them up when they sprout so they don't get a chance to bloom. Also I will have to look at the container but their is something we put in the beds that helps with weeds. I do have less wild morning glorys now that a few years ago. When I go out ot feed the chickens this morning I will see what the name of the stuff is.
