Who read about the Butter Ball Raid in N.C?

Is this the new Butterball abuse video on youtube that your talking about? I just seen that one a few days ago, I can't believe they can do that even when someone is standing there video taping them.

I always thought they didn't make it obvious that their video taping, like undercover because if they do then not only are they cruel, heartless, animal killers their also really dumb.

the cameras are hidden. the people who investigate cases like this have to go through a lot to get hired by the factory farm in order to capture footage. (In my early 20's I used to be involved with a lot of AR organizations)

I only watched the first part but quickly stopped. I may never eat another store bought turkey again and Definitely will not buy a butter ball .

There is just no excuse for this behavior, I suggest you forward this information to all your family and friends.

I wish Butter Ball an unhappy new year,

Rancher

I agree, whenever we go turkey shopping we always buy the biggest and believe we have bought butter ball, *gag* Now when I look at those poor creatures I can't help but thinking of those sad faces. I may have to beg my mom to not buy a store turkey and buy it from a local spot. And I LOVE TURKEYS, THEIR SO SWEET AND CUTE!!

I haven't seen nor heard anything. Although, I haven't had the chance to see the news in a while. The stores I shop in dont' carry Butterball and haven't for a few years. Not for nothing but I bet all poultry houses are the same. Birds are raised for so many weeks then off to slaughter.

I think those that work in places like this should be reevaluated after a certain amount of time in order to keep working. Maybe they can weed out the people that have no morals. Or, put cameras in the houses in order to watch what is going on and fix any problems they find. I think that would be the best thing to do.

I can't watch utube because I have dial up

We raised our own heritage turkeys this year. Previous years we bought a heritage turkey local. Our turkeys were so sweet. Can't imagine how someone could treat animals like that.
