I have been getting no eggs out of my standards for the past month and a half, but they were in the midst of some major molting so it was to be expected. I am now getting eggs again (just one a day from 8 girls). They are 3 years old. The first year that I had them they did not take a winter break. Thank goodness that I had the ducks this year to backfill.

My Leghorn molted about 3 months ago and still no white eggs. My EE just started her molt about 2 weeks ago, so no blue eggs. Thank goodness for my 2 brown egg layers. 2/2 today so I am just barely getting enough eggs.

I refuse to buy them - YUK YUK YUK

I have been averaging 9 to 10 a day. Once in awhile 11.

i am getting 7-10 per day from 18 hens but i know of my 8 2 year old barred rocks only one is laying the other eggs are from my red sex links that just started laying a a month ago
