who should i order form

should i buy my chicks from Ideal poultry or from Natures hatchery? Those are the only 2 places that sell all the breeds and colors that im getting

Nature's Hatchery, if there is no other choice. They're a newer hatchery, so their stock is newer. Also, they actually admit to some of their crossbred chickens like Easter Eggers. They're also not prone to have as many diseases, malformed and malnutritioned birds, and crossbred "purebred breeds."

Ideal has a tendancy to have much more poor quality of chickens, and they do a lot of "experiments" with "new colors" of some breeds.

NOT ideal!

i'm on shipment number 5 of DEAD chicks.

this time some are alive.

finally they shipped priority and insured it... i guess they dont want to throw away all those chicks afterall.

update- 15 doing ok, 3 dead ( 1 origionally doa) and 7 in the 'hospital'
