Who all has started their seeds for their 2018 garden? I've got tomatoes and peppers started. And will start some squash and zucchini later on. I prefer to start them early so when I put them in the ground they are nearly a foot tall and as big around as my finger. What all have you started?

I haven't yet, my last frost date is mid April. But I'm always interested in ways to get an earlier start. What's your set up? Are you using heat mats and grow lights or do you have an area with a sunny southern exposure? I have no south facing windows so if I tried it now I'd definitely need lights.

I bought my seeds, but I wasn't planning on starting any until February. I'm not that great at gardening and that's what the website I bought the seeds from suggested for my area. I am itching to get them in the ground though. I'm starting to work on my garden this weekend, getting the ground ready for planting.

I will have 100% of my garden planted by Easter. and normally have 50qts of tomatoes put up by 4th of July. I use a plastic rack in a south facing window of a spare bedroom to start my plants on. The trays are not on a heat mat, but I do put a heater in the room to keep a constant temp. I'm actually a bit late in starting my plants this year. I typically start then on Jan 1.

I love your arrow heads! Do you sell/trade them? Did you make them yourself? Do you make bows and arrows? I love it!

I havn't started seeds yet, but have received all my seed orders and have my grow lights up and ready. I usually start some stuff in February. We have some small greenhouses and we sell plants off the farm, so we start earlier than most just so plants are good size for our customers. If my greenhouses were more equipped for our cold winters I would start some stuff in January too, but they are not and as it is starting in February the plants take over our house. Always hoping for an early spring that stays warm...hate them nigh time lows...running plants in and out of the house is a workout, but worth it.
