Every time it does a 2 day rain I ALWAYS lose a chicken. Well today it was the 2nd day of rain, and to my grief I cannot find one of my runty chick. There are a couple feathers that look sorta like hers on the ground but no dead chick or blood on our land or close to our land. So, im guessing its a hawk that got the poor baby (left with only 2 chicks, the other 4 died). But just wondering, crows and magpies are often on our property, do you think they would have ate or at least flew away with then ate my poor chick?

RIP Penelope
