Who watched the Rose Parade yesterday????

Broughton HS ( my m-i-l graduated from there) was the first or 2nd band that marched and being a past band member from another school I will say they looked wonderful. Read this article about how long their Band directior took to get them ready for this chance of a lifetime.

They were GOOD, I'm so proud that a NC marching band was good enough to go to the Rose Bowl Parade. YA NC

Heck ya I watched it! New Mexico won the Grand Marshall's award Yahooo!!!!
The band looked great too, I always watch them because I marched for 6 years.

I wait for that parade every year-I think its the best parade in the country. Well I missed it yesterday-lucky for me they repeated it on the travel channel, and I got to see the whole thing. The added bonus was that they had the US Equestrian Team there with their horses, and the other added bonus was that Robert Dover was with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think he is a phenominal rider, one of my favorites. Lucky me!

I love the Rose Parade. I anticipate it all year! When my brother saw the float with the transforming car he nearly had a heart attack. He went screaming around the house yelling "COME LOOK AT THE TV! COME LOOK AT THE TV!" for 10 minutes. Then he told everyone in site about it for a few days. I liked the float with the tiger. They need to make a chicken float!
