Who Would Prefer a Goat

Hi! So I don't know if it is just me or what but I would prefer my pygmy goats over my dogs they are just more fun too me lol who else would prefer their goats over their dogs?

Well.... I liked my goat... Prince Goatie,a lot, but I like my dog better. Now I did have a lamb that I absolutely adored. My goat used to headbutt my pig, Princess Willow, in the tummy. So he was more of a little troublemaker. He was a cutie though.

i'd never prefer those ridiculous goats to my good and trusty D-O-G's

goats cant:

* scare the UPS guy and generally keep everyone in their trucks when the make the mistake of driving up your lane
* go and tell your hubby that you're trapped in a well (providing you are little Timmy)
* chase off the neighbor's dogs when they are coming for your hens
*walk the property line and mark it as territory
* keep that darn rooster from jumping up on you
* herd up the geese and bring them in
* take tools up the hill to where hubby is working b/c you just cant walk up there for the 97th time
* find a black hen on a dark and storm nite
* do a big ol' belly flop into the pond when chasing a stick.

and most of all... go OUTSIDE and pee. need i say more?

so nope would never trade or ever prefer the goat over the trusty dogs so just call me the 'goat liker' not the goat lover

Yes they can

I love my dogs very dearly, and I love one of my goats, Hope, the same way. Even husband is quite taken with her.

She is very intelligent, she comes running over to get scratched. She knows what to expect when hubby comes out, she will look at him, then up at the grapevines that grow on top and all over the shed. Why? Because he pulls them down for her. And she knows this. She never "asks" me to do that, because I don't. Can't reach em, ya know.

I do not love my goats over my dogs, but I would do everything in my power to ensure I never have to part with either.​

Well, I'm having to make the painful decision, my 5 nigis or my 2 mutts. I've decided to keep my goaties. 1 dog is 15, is half blind and deaf and arthritic. The other is young, playful and sweet. The older one will probably be pts soon, the other will be looking for a new home. I'm getting divorced soon and have over 1500.00 invested in the goats. If I get rid of them, I'll never get more and I love my goaties. I'm moving in with my parents and my dad said no to bringing the dogs.

Don't get me wrong I love my dogs to death but once they pass on I'm never getting dogs again. I would so much rather have goats. I hate scooping dog poop

Yes, I rake and scoop my goats poop and I don't gag over it. That's not the only reason I'd pick goats over dogs but one of the big reasons.
