I'll pick up one or two more chicks tomorrow, and the feed.
I'll feed her some bread tonight, and take some pictures!

Fleabuskitty, yes I do feed frozen normally and my intent was to euthanize the chick, freeze it and then feed however it just looks oh to big for Khloe

There was someone in our area once that had a want ad for chicks to feed his snakes. I think it would be a good use for sex link cockerels.

Stick with crumbled hard boiled egg till you can get to the feed store. KEEP IT WARM and yes it needs a buddy, perhaps a couple buddies...then you can have chickens and teach your snake how to eat eggs INSTEAD of chickens.

Heat is needed for a chick to survive.
Now, I don't know the exact heat, bu you will need a heat lamp.

The chicks do have heat, that part I knew about

We went back to the same food store, and they are Ameraucana.

They're probably actually Easter Eggers, which are Ameraucana mixes and are more common than real Ameraucanas

I guess you've read about the right heat. I keep the brooder at 90 degrees for the first week and raise the heat lamp a little each week for the first three weeks or so. Did you get medicated or unmedicated starter?
