Do you use "autobid"? It can save you that heartache in the future. Just put in the maximum amount you want to pay and autobid keeps upping your bid by the require increment every time someone outbids you. However it can be a PIA if someone else is using it too....can max you out really fast. Perhaps just use it for the last couple of hours?

Oh yes, it was autobid. They topped my maximum in one bid, and I didn't have it set low, either. Oh well.
