Whole flock stopped laying? 20+chickens!

Have you checked for worms and/or mites? When I fostered chickens, they weren't laying and i discovered they had a bad case of roundworm. Once treated, they went back to laying (in middle of winter).

How would I go about check them for this? Would they be having other symptoms besides not laying? And what is the possible treatment for it?

Have a vet do a fecal float to look at the worm load.

Any chance the eggs are being eaten?

If eggs where being eaten, the chickens would be showing signs of stress- obviously because an intruder and predator was entering their space, plus many egg stealers are also chicken stealers. The eggs wouldn’t be the only thing missing

We did have this problem with a couple of old hens but we were very much aware of it lol
