Whole food stor wants $1.00 for 3 eggs

My neighbor gets $4.00 a dozen, and he gets $15 for roosters, but he sells to Hispanics who do not like store bought eggs or chicken.

Whole Food Stores are organic stores, organic eggs in Wally World last time I looked were almost $4.00 a dozen.

We don't have any here that I know of I was going by their website. In any case $1 is fair for 3 eggs, and a single person on a low cholesterol diet only eats 1 or 2 eggs a week. As long as the customer buys them I see nothing to frown upon.

I sell my extras for $1 a dozen. I tried pricing my free range eggs "up there", no one would bite. I guess there is too many chicken people around here for that.

We had an organic store open here ,..it lasted two months tops. The luxery of being in a rural area I guess,..why buy it when you can raise it yourself.

The price sounds about right to me... I sell my eggs at £2.00 per doz here, and i will sell three eggs if people only want that number, which is usually the elderly .................. BUT I did see an advert on the TV the other evening and they where selling 1/2 doz eggs for £1.94!! (free range).............

Find your market instead of them finding you. Do you know any Hispanics? Other immigrants prefer natural eggs and chickens too.

That is a good idea! There isn't any hispanics up my way, though we have alot of french canadians, and there is alot of Philipeanos just in my area alone (including my step-mother), perhaps they would like really fresh eggs, since they came from a place where most everything is fresh. Oooo you have my brain juices flowing now!! Lol, my hubby looks alittle scared

I'd gladly pay $4 per dozen to someone who had clean coops and runs and free ranged their chickens, but I get more eggs than I need from two hens and two silkies that free range. We give away our extras.
