Oh I remembered the other thing, sleep. You can set when you want to go to bed and wake up. I don't think it's an alarm or anything but just a goal to sleep i guess.
And you can choose to monitor water intake too.
It has a lot more stuff than I thought haha
sounds like it is a great app....60 minutes of exercise a day is a lot!
Try for 10,000 steps a day.
The hardest part is getting started. Once you start making changes and seeing results, you'll get excited about it and it'll be easier to continue. Like when you realize your clothes are now too big, and you have to go buy a smaller size- that's really motivating. Or you take your measurements and see that you've lost an inch around your waist.
But getting started is tough because you feel like you're giving up all this fun stuff and not really getting a reward! So first you need to find what works to deal with your sugar cravings. I'd give your exercise idea a try; next time you want ice cream, take your dog and walk to the mailbox and back three times. Then see if you still want the ice cream. Also, if you have treats in the house, make them less accessible. Hide the ice cream underneath all the stuff in the freezer, put candy up on a high shelf behind a bunch of other groceries. Make it so that the treats aren't just there for the taking.
Now this might not apply to you at all, but do you use food as "comfort"? I used to, if I was stressed and upset, I ate candy to feel better. I did that a ton in college, hence why I got so out of shape. It's a super hard habit to break, but finding an alternative outlet to deal with stress helped me more than anything else. I'd have a cup of hot cocoa (which was warm and comforting) and read a funny book, and it was so much better for me than eating a huge piece of cake with several scoops of ice cream.
