ditto, but earthquakes are too short for a good party. WE used to do hurricane partys in Fl in 04

No hurricane parties around here...everyone just has panic attacks and wipe out all the grocery shelves of milk, bread, and eggs...just like when they are calling for snow. Now I'm wondering...is everyone having a French toast marathon and I'm the ONLY one in the South that doesn't know that I'm supposed to be doing that?

What else can you do without TV and electrity??? I mean thats PG 13. Geez folks keep it clean.

Back in 01 or 02 the Ohio valley had a 5.2. At the time i was outside with my neighbor yapping away.We never noticed as we were so used to rumpling and noise from living in Ft Knox.

Oh, they don;t freak me out AT ALL. I know what to do, I ususally sit here for a few seconds to see if it gets worse.... I really am not sure about the whole turning CA into an island - the fault lines run right through the middle of the state so it would be a little hard for the whole state to just break off. I haven't tucked, ducked and rolled since elementary school

I remember the lady that bought a electric can opener just in case.
ouch blonde moment.
We ran out of edible food after a few days after Charlie because heat and no electric service in August dont mix and the food from the SAlvation army wasnt that bad.

We always had the tornado drills in school, it was weird when my kindergartner came home and showed me how he learned about Tornado Drills. Makes ya think....
