Congrats!!! Everyone photographs their first egg. And, as the saying goes, you never forget your first one. There will be many more to come. I still find it exciting to go out and collect the eggs. My 12 hens are averaging 275 eggs every 30 days. It is great!!! Have fun !

It is easy to get excited with you. That first egg is so special. Especially if you raised the hens from chicks. Sigh! It seemed to take forever waiting for that first egg.

Mine went home with the grandbabies (age 7&9). They were more excited than I was - if you can believe that.
