2nd broody has a pip!

I wasn't sure any of hers would hatch since she and the 1st broody spent so much time stealing these eggs from each other. I will be happy if 2 or three hatch after all they have been through. Now, come on and zip little baby.

I'm heading back out now to see if I can get a photo of the three that hatched the 12th and 13th. They've been a little camera shy.

These are the 3 that the first broody hatched on the 12th and 13th. It's been rather cool here (60's) , so this is the first day she has spent much time off the nest with the chicks. Until today she spent most of her time stealing eggs from the 2nd broody hen.

Had a new addition during the night. It's a little camera shy so photos later. Hoping for 2-3 more sometime the next 24 hours.
