Whopper Egg

The two egss are from my EE pullet. She usually lays like the one on the left. Yesterday she laid the whopper on the right. My husband collected it and put it on my little Jiffy Way. It tipped the scale. Couldn't believe it. I had to run out and make sure she was still alive after that and not bleeding somewhere. LOL. At this size I think we can be sure it is a double yolker. Good girl Lucy!

Those are both beauties! How old is she? My Red star laid medium eggs and then BAM- one day she laid a whopper and she's been an large egg machine ever since! Could this be the beginning of something new?

Lucy is 6 months. Just a baby. LOL. It does not show in the pic but she lays a pretty blue green egg.
