I am sorry, but in my earlier post I should have not described the Mille Fleur D'Uccles I want to sell at this show as roos; they are males, but calling them roos implies that they are more than 1 year old. These are actually cockerels, and they will be 4 months old at the time of the show. If you are looking for a roo/cockerel for breeding purposes, they should be up to the task by March.
They are all very sweet, tame, and have great personalities. I just love them all, but I have 5 pullets to 8 cockerels, and I just can't justify keeping them all. My plan is to keep 1 cockerel with the 5 pullets once they are old enough to breed and keep 2 cockerels as alternates. That leaves me with 5 cockerels I need to rehome. I have found buyers for 2 of the cockerels already, so that leaves 3 I still need to find homes for. Since these are from show stock, I will be asking $15 per cockerel.
