I enjoyed going at 2pm... almost no kids... and bunch of adults and plenty of empty seats to prop my feet on.
Now I read the books, so I was disappointed in some of the cut outs and changes. My husband was clueless on what was supposed to be happening, and what some scenes conveyed. He was mad they just left you hanging... and I mean mad. He wasn't the only one... I noticed a LOT of men (yes, grown men filled that theater) start complaining as soon as the credits came on.
I do believe WB could have crammed it all into a good 3 hour maybe 3 1/2 hour movie and saved us a wait. I opened the book last night and decided to give it a good 3rd read after the movie... and I realized we watched 500 pages of that book already. The 2nd half movie will only cover a whole 250 pages?! So cut back movie one... and probably shove a bunch of extra stuff to drag out part 2 is what I'm gathering.
