Guinea eggs are cream to brown...I'll post pics when I can..(but BYC is still having some problems)...certains I can't get to..LOL The blue egg is from your EE's and will get bigger...congrats!



It is the small egg...shell is very very hard...

OMG !!! Those keats are adorable.
I too am not trying to hijack....but, was going to post to ask what a Guinea egg looks like ??? I live in MA where it's been cold. I have 7 Guineas..about 20 wks. They are in with some standard chicks...same age. Some are EEs. Today I got a 2nd egg...one a few days ago. It's lt blue. Weighs in as a "peewee". Quite pointed on one end. I keep checking out the EEs but nobody is red in the face. Cooked the first one...it may have been small but had a double yolk !
How do you know if a Guinea is laying ?? Thanks, and sorry. Don't mean to be rude.

My Guinea Hens have Actually started laying in the nesting boxes with the chickens. I could not believe my eyes, but there it was, a Guinea egg in the nest box !!

Of course, my Guineas think they ARE chickens.
