Come on duckies! Where the heck are you! I need to see pics!

My update - all 6 of my blue geese are developing! YAY!

Only one pilgrim so far, but it has only been like 5 days I think. All my home grown geese are developing and all my homegrown runners as well.

Now those calls - nope! Not a one so far.

But the girls are prolific, all four lay daily so eventually the boys should catch up.

8 days to first hatch! YAY YAY YAY!

I just candled my silver appleyards which are due to hatch 4/13. Lost 2 more; down to 8. Started with 12 but one wasn't fertile.

ohhh today is the night of day 26 for my duck eggs, and I have a pip!!! I been checking all day, and nothing and then tonight, I spotted a pip! Then the pip got a little bigger! Wont be long now!

I think they will, I see some subtle differences. I have other pilgrim eggs from Shadyglade too.

Final update on my silky duck hatch! I have 4 out of 6, the last two eggs I candled last night and no movement so I think we're done.

I had to work 12 hour shifts monday and tuesday and NOTHING happened with those eggs when I was at home at night (I read somewhere that duck eggs usually 'rest' at night) so I missed all but the first hatch but they are sooooooooo cute!

I'll post pics in a couple of hours. I can't believe how small they are.
